Overview

Rudy Rosenmayer maintains a broad litigation practice. He has experience assisting with employment litigation, white collar criminal fraud matters, and contract disputes.

Rudy previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Zachary M. Bluestone of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Honorable Thomas E. Johnston of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. In those roles, he honed his legal research and writing skills while gaining insight into how courts evaluate legal issues and arguments. His clerkship experience provided him with a strong understanding of procedural rules, litigation strategy, and the factors that influence judicial decision-making, enabling him to assess legal issues from multiple perspectives and help clients navigate the litigation process effectively.

During law school, Rudy was a member of his university’s appellate clinic, where he assisted a pro se litigant in an appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He helped draft appellate briefing and was selected to present oral argument before a three-judge panel. This experience strengthened his advocacy skills and reinforced his ability to present complex legal issues clearly and persuasively. Rudy was also an accomplished moot court competitor, earning multiple awards for oral advocacy and brief writing.

Prior to attending law school, Rudy worked in government affairs, representing corporate interests before government agencies, legislative bodies and industry organizations.
